These 600+ photos were projected on to screens during Lola’s Celebration of Life. The images appear below more or less in chronological order and were compiled quickly by Lola’s son Johnny during the surreal time period between Lola’s death and her Memorial Service.
Many of the photos are scanned from Lola’s own albums; those depicting the Manzon family from the 1950s to the 1970s were taken by Lola’s husband Mario and their son Tony. Other contributing photographers include Johnny, Lola’s son-in-law Will, her grandchild Aimy, Sheilah Mabry, Risa Morimoto, and Allison Plambeck.
